Explore this season of death and transformation in the loving embrace community. Our Crossing the Veil Ritual is an annual chance to reconnect with our beloved dead and to quiet old issues. Clergy, energy workers and professional counselors are on hand to provide support. Our main workshop will deal with the practical aspects of Green Burial. This year at our annual meeting we agreed to establish a Green Burial area at Ozark Avalon. This workshop will deal with green burial from a friends and family prospective as well as the role the clergy. We will also have a special dedication ritual on the site.

Pumpkin craving, workshops and sand candle casting will round out this weekend. Bring your magickal and other wax to cast into new candles. The Feast of the Dead will be a centerpiece of the
retreat. Please bring the favorite dish of your beloved dead for the Saturday evening post-ritual meal. We will have pumpkins available to be carved into Jack o' Lanterns, which will be used as an integral part of main ritual. This ritual will be held out of doors, so dress appropriately and wear walking shoes for the procession. Transportation will be available for those with special needs.

Sunday morning we will turn the wheel of the year as we graduate our Year and A Day Class and welcome the new class members. Due to the serious nature of this retreat adults and older teens only.

$50 OakSpirits - $60 in advance and $70 at the gate.

Day passes are available for either day for $20.

Scholarships and working scholarships are available to those with special needs; please call in advance.

All meals except for the potluck Feast of the Dead are included. We plan a special silent auction with presents available in time for Yule shopping. We already have some great items and welcome more. Camping is also included and there is limited indoor space available so please reserve early.
